Ibeleave its all part of the skils test.If you got skils, you got game.Thatst why it picks up speed as it goes,Instead of being stedy. It would be alot easyer to shoot low scores, but who would want that...(meeeeeeeeeeee)

I agree with  the PRIESTESS, I have a hard time keeping up with the meter when it's perfect using the gi-sd's.

I have experienced the speed changes in the meter also, but, not all the time. sometimes the meter has a steady speed and then you have a good round, go back to replay the course and meter speed is in variable mode again. When this happens I'm always late on the hit, most aggravating when putting.

    WGT

Please before you do anything else smooth out and fix the meter you make avatars and get a course, some new clubs which are good but for gods sake give us a steady mete

Today i could not even drag the meter back without it playing up let alone trying to stop it on the line = VERY FRUSTRATING

There was similar chat on this subject a few weeks ago on another thread. A couple players, myself included, also commented on how you could tell what your round was going to be like after only a few shots. Seems like some rounds everything goes smooth,  30-40 foot putts drop left and right, and it is easy to stop the meter on the sweet spot the majority of the time. Then the next round (with the exact same equipment and similar course conditions) it seems like a perfect meter hit is down to 40-50% at best, shot deviation rises, and putts outside of 8-10 feet are almost impossible.

There definitely seems to be more at play here than standard, consistent deviation.

Totally agree, i played for 2days with -4 being my worst score then today i couldnt get a bird for all the money in china.

My problem is if its standard consistent deviation, shouldn't it be that every game should show this deviation not 2 good days then a week of horror then good again.

I love this game but some things just jump out at me and say why do you play as anything else in life that frustrated me like this game does it would be in the garbage quicker than a cheese burger wrapper.

Lets just say the camels back is starting to break and when it does bye bye

I know why Tibbets left as he was the first to divulge such frustrations at these strange happenings

Hi, Charlie-hope that leg's almost there. With regard to the quote, try looking at it like this. In real life on the course you could say the very same thing. One week you're crushing the ball and nailing greens and the next week you're all over the place and couldn't hit a green with a laser. Isn't that the way it is for most golfers?

Now translate that as it applies to this game. Some days, like you pointed out, are good and some are not.In an online game where there usually is a finite computation for every action( computers basically being nothing more than adding machines) it would stand to reason that eventually someone would "TWO" it and become perfect.

How do you prevent this from happening and make this more life like?   LOL-Take your pick-the beast, vemmie, deviations, quirks, servers or anything else you can think of. The fact remains that regardless of how it's done the end result is the same frustrations, failures and successes that a real golfer endures.

You not being able to get a birdie "for all the money in china" today doesn't mean tomorrow you won't bankrupt the house! If the pro's have to put up with ups and downs it stands to reason that virtual golfers should be too. Aint easy to swallow sometimes but it's the real thing, IMO.
