I realize the game might be trying to save on band width, but I for one would like to see the shots in real time. It adds to the realism, and also provides an indication of the putt speed as well.
Is there a setting in options that we could turn on to provide this realism. I checked but nothing seem to indicate real time ball flight.
From what I've seen, ball flight does seem to be in real time, very realistic. Is yours going too fast or too slow? I wouldn't normally say this, but in this case I think it may actually be either your PC, your internet speed, or the network.
Are you saying that you don't see your shot take off, you only see where it lands??
If so, that is bizarre, as I have always seen my ball flight since day one here at wgt.

Real time display is dependent on the amount of data generated for each shot. Also, it is dependent on how the results are displayed. This is controlled by the coding. If you notice sometimes in the instant replays when you are close to the green and one executes a flop shot look at the arc of the ball.
