Agreed...Olympic is playing very fast, not tourney speed.

OK, it looks like everything has been fixed now.

    LMAO. It was never broken.

    8 is drivable???...a drivable par 3....neat idea :)

The Par 3s are all "drivable".  #8, on the other hand, is a drivable Par 4, and that is a neat idea, although it's definitely not the first short Par 4 in WGT and/or US Open History.

OK, the 7th already. But the point remains. Kind of nice to have a drivable par 4 somewhere on the course. The lower tier of the green is open for business, but it would be pretty tricky to get a drive up onto the second tier of the green, near the hole.

Only complaint is that most of the greens do play like Very Fast and not Tournament, especially on uphill putts.

Love the course though, very challenging long par 4's and only one par 5 that's reachable in 2.  Gonna force you to improve your long iron game and to hit long putts.  But the greens aren't terribly tough if you can adjust to the speed.

I dig the long par 3's, and throwing in the short par 4 that is really tough to get up and on with the driver, and the hole location makes up for the short yardage.

Just shot a 61...... never going to hold up for the cut. I figure 58  maybe 57. Love the coarse, long and watch out for the tree's.  So far have found the green's to be well mapped. Speed is for you to figure out, after 9 holes speed should not be a problem.

Hole 9 green is fixed now.  Gimme putts are allowed to go in.

WGT put Olympic on the WGT Community->Golf Courses

page which is excellent.  I also appreciate that hanging

tree limb on Olympic which actually got in the way and

deflected my golf ball down for a 100 yd drive total.  Normally,

golf games are not programmed to have a hanging tree

limb come into play like that.  I think it is awesome even

though my score on that hole was increased.
