    DAZZA501:

Try changing to the chip view on putts. It's a truer read of the green IMO.

If it still doesn't break then remember it for next time ;)

I have used this and it works! Check the putter view and note the run of the green, Then change to chip view. If there is any difference between the two, set up the putt in chip view then change back to putter view and hit it.

I don't remember if the debate was ever definitively settled and an answer given, but...maybe it's evidence that wind does affect putting.  St. A's is wide open and can be like the Hadron Collider when the winds are heavy...

    One word:

    WIND!!!

The wind affects your putts, but not a whole lot, but just enough to throw you off...

It absolutely does.  Want proof?  Play the Nation putting challenge and notice how much the wind affects the putt on the 100+ ft putt on The Road Hole.  The distance needed for that putt changes dramatically with different winds.
