... that don't break like the grid shows??

off the top of my head... #9 left back pin location from behind the hole 8-15 feet,  the 591 par 5 on the back with the long fairway (don't remember the number).

Are the balls moving just to throw us off on purpose?  Why make the grid?

I guess you are just supposed to memorize which putts to completely ignore the grid.. or aim the other direction even?...  Seems bizarre.

I don't think so...   but, I think as your Average goes down the harder the game plays.

It's the easiest course. What more do you want?

Fair enough.  It just makes u wonder... is the game broken?  Do they not know some of those balls shouldn't be moving?  Why don't they fix it?  Did they do this on purpose?  Is there a boogie man in my closet?

    TSK....

Ya have to know that even with "balls moving" a 6 footer on 9 at SA can be drilled in...maybe move ;...what an inch.

    Now what's a 12 foot putt do hitting firm...etc;)

that is why I learned to putt from the reverse view, it tends to be far more accurate

Yes me too.  Even so, there are moving dots with no moving balls.

I guess its just me getting used to some of the slow dots found on the SA's greens.

Try changing to the chip view on putts. It's a truer read of the green IMO.

If it still doesn't break then remember it for next time ;)

St.a was the easiest course for me, now it's one of the hardest (for me anyway..lol).

If you play the course often enough, you get to know how the dots move on the greens. Apart from green speeds the dot movement never changes.

If your basically landing in the same spot on the green most of the time, you get to remember how the dots move.. when to click the putting meter or where to place your Aim.

As Dazza said... remember what to do for the next time, or write notes and after awhile you can throw those notes out.

eg St.a #1...most of the time I like to land the ball past the hole, getting it there is the hard part...lol... from there the dots always move the same way and speed. So I know where to click the meter to get the ball in the hole.... if it goes in, that's another story...lol

I say click the meter because I'm a miss the ding putter... I would only ding it if it's a straight putt and only move the Aim if it's a very fast dot movement.

Just one thing though.... try not to overthink you putts.... For me too much thinking on the greens is when my brain gets confused. Keep it simple.
