Never count Ernie out, when he birdied that last hole, I called my oldest son and said the old man has it. Made my day,. he is such a great person and a great ambassador to the game of golf. Sorry I called him an old man, he is way younger than me.

    Congrats Ernie!

This must mean he goes to Augusta next year, good deal. He had the best GIR & man, Ernie can bomb them drives a looong way.

The way that Ernie 'ATTACKED" that 18th hole with such fierce shots,,,pounding that huge drive. Knocking it on & "DRILLING" that long put for a birdy..

I'll remember him at that 18th for a long time.

I realize Scott was the one swinging the club but with a caddie that's been there before with Tiger  you would think he'd have been a little more influential keeping the focus where it belonged. You don't finish a championship run with a string of bogies unless you lose sight of the objective or start gripping. Witness Els' finish.

I was thinking the same thing Jim.

I have a feeling there was not very good feelings between Williams and Scott on the last day... Not sure, but Scott answered a question in his press conference after the 3rd day, this was in relation to his caddy.  I don't think Williams liked what he said and might have left Scott alone to play the game, without giving any advise
