Played that course perhaps a dozen times when I lived in Hawaii....Kapalua used to have 3 courses. I play to a 7 handicap and have hit 3 iron's 110 yards...and 3 irons 280 yards with the winds there. There were rounds where you'd aim a 7 iron 50 yards off line and watch the wind bring it back. It get's brutal on the holes that are on the top and exposed. I agree it's unplayable like it was this past weekend...but, there's a sick little part of me that enjoys watching the pro's hit the first two greens in a row and start out double bogey/triple bogey
