The TruGolf courses were put in by WGT (at least my opinion) to pacify the members who want more courses.   Put in a few of these and it at least looks like we have more courses than we do, even if they are pay to play.  I suspect that WGT pays them based upon the use rather than a monthly set fee.   SafariMan is right, once in a while these pop up on the weekly for free if you want to play them.

To the original OP, no extra experience points are needed.  No level required to 'unlock' these, no such thing in WGT.   All courses are available for all players.

    Yep!

Right now, Cabo front 9 is the weekly single play course.

I agree and probably seemed the quickest way to pacify memebers who wanted more courses. I also believe TruGolf would be paid on a user pays basis rather than a set monthly fee which would have been the prudent thing to do. The sucess of them will remain unknown by members but bearing in mind the green fees were reduced is an indication perhaps that not as many members use the courses as was anticipated.

And Borntobesting is correct that Chad did imply that a green fee was wanted by TruGolf for CTTH

I have rarely played the TruGolf courses mainly because I don't care for them.   I'll play in a tournament once in a while on them, but I have a difficult time putting on them, I don't seem to be able to see the line as well for some reason.

I think that the TruGolf on WGT is a failed attempt to pacify members.  If WGT would commit to 2 courses a year and photo them in a way that we have 3 sets of pins for each course, over 5 years we would 10 courses with 3 sets of pins, some of the courses play very different and are almost like another course when the alternate pins are used.

Kiawah has some of the toughest putting around with some of the new pins.  Congressional plays like a new course with the second set of pins.
