I just started playing a little less than a week ago.

Do I get extra experience points for playing on a course with a green fee? Whenever I click on strokeplay or match play, I usually just leave it at random and left the game decide for me.

I'm guessing because I reached level XXXV that a course with a green fee has shown up.

Yes you earn XP points on all courses and all forms of play. However you earn more points depending on the game type. Make sure you play daily to earn the consecutive daily bonus - up to 880 points ewben if you play the 1 hole under WGT community.

As it is random it will occasionaly come up with Cabo or Whistler, but you must agree to pay the credits before you tee off.

Alas, no extra XPs for paying green fee.

Speaking of green fees, I must ask... WHY? Between advertising, imaginary equipment (zero overhead expense to create balls, clubs, etc.), the house rake on RGs and Challenge games, WGT simply has to be one of the top profit centers on the Internet. And get charged a greens fee on top of all that? Back in the old country (United States), we'd call that a GOUGE.

Whistler and Cabo were not made by WGT they are Trugolf so I assume it is the licence fee or royalty for playing them.

If you read the first post Chad made about Cabo he implied that Trugolf even wanted to charge a green fee for CTTH rounds.

Anybody know how long the Contract is for each course...  Cabo has been around for awhile  now. Maybe time for the Fee's to be stopped on that course.

WGT likely pays Trugolf a recurring, maybe monthly, licensing fee based on usage for having Whistler and Cabo available.

Because of the fee, I have not yet played either course.

Check the WGT "free" monthly or weekly tournaments.  Every now and then they will let you play a free 9 hole round on either of those courses.....
