im a real life golfer - however this particular game we play here is NOT a realistic golf game, no matter how much it says it is.

for a start, winds do not work the way it works at wgt in real life, winds are much more lenient in its effects in real life.

nobody in real life can have a GIR of 9feet or less - that's just daft, and the fault lies in wgts clubs and balls, all of which slow the meter and add accuracy. in real life u cannot buy a club that 'makes u play better'.

nobody in real life can play 20 games a day - like we can at wgt.

to me the uneven lie game is closer to real life that regular lies - of course its not perfect, who in real life has to hit side ways for a ridiculous lie? that's wgts fault for not fixing.

I much prefer my randomness in shots coming from a lie than getting vemmed and having a dinged shot in 0 wind travel 14y left or right of its intended target.

from what I can see, more real life golfers play the uneven lie game purely as its more of a challenge and better representation of real life golf than the standard regular lie game here.

who In real life has averages below 60? nobody.

now, if wgt can get its *** together and fix the freaking game, and stop reducing the number of tournaments and actually encourage the ideas they promote, we would all be better off in terms of enjoyment of this COMPUTER GAME.

the only gamers I can see on this site are the ones who cheat, exploit and abuse others.

and theres plenty of those around, not hard to tell the obvious.

oh btw just played an uneven lie tournament at merion b9 off the back tees and heavy winds with ultra 40 greens. shot a 39 and was more proud of that than shooting a 56 at st andys in regular play. and triple the satisfaction.

got a par on 15 but had trouble on 10 when my drive hit a brush spot and shot off 40y out of bounds.  hole 13 had 2 putts roll back 35ft to my feet before jamming a 35ft bogey save. hole 17 somehow forgot to change to 3w and hit the par3 with the driver, went 37y over the pin and had a 60/70 rough 90 degree downward lie to hack out, saved double bogey.

18 had the easiest 5ft par putt and blew it - veers offline at the last half an inch.

was quite a fun round and looking forwards to the next 3 rounds lol
