You're usually spot-on, Andyson, but you read too much into the Easy, Medium, & Hard designations.
On the courses with 2 pin locations, one pin is generally easier then the other. I won't dig for the thread ( too lazy.. or just apathetic), but this is how I recall it being explained.
Each round has a mix of easy & hard pins;
Easy = a higher percentage of "easy" pins....Medium = a fairly balanced blend of easy/hard pins... Hard = a higher % of the harder pins.
