    SweetiePie:
I am on the very cusp of L96 and intend to purchase the L96 Versa the moment after reaching that level.

IMHO the L96 is a bells and whistles "upgrade" to the L92 Ghost, and plays NOTHING like the L70 Versa, unless you only use the L70 Versa to ding putt.

Thank You Jim. Being stagnet in putting after some 45,000+ trys, I decided to remain as is or make some changes. I've always been an early/late putter never looking at the reverse view...one look and boom. Too fast and too careless, all the while expecting 'magic' to show up. It never did. So now, I am checking both views while learning what the line grid means in combination with the moving beads. If I have any doubts I go with the old method but I am getting to trust the grid and beads with dinged putts or maybe one pixel left or right. But I don't plan to sell the L70 but do intend to get the L96. Wish me luck.

Totally agree. I was a devout 92 Ghost user from the day it came out and swore by it. The problem is it's a ding putter-deadly with the ding but consistent with no ding-no sink.

I switched to the Versa last week and immediately solved the 8-12 foot problems and am now sinking off-ding putts that otherwise would have missed with the Ghost.  :-)

this is my 2 cents worth I have two putters right now trying to see which one suits my game  the Nike method one lvl 51and the Odyssey Versa lvl70 and I  think the odyssey versa is a bit more forgiving than the Nike but I do like the  10 20 50 etc increments more than the 15 30 etc. my biggest problem that still kills my game Is hitting the d__m ding when aiming and I do not like to use the missing the ding  because I 'm usually wilder when I try that way, The free rental period is the best time to try out the putters up to your tier and see which one u like the best (imho):)

Compromise. Aim like you do but just miss on the high side of the putt. It helps forgiving putters hold the line.  This is where the Versa trumps the Ghost because it forgives that "smart" miss.
