I cant stress enough how bad this putter is!!!!  Heated!, Don't waste you're valuable credits on this piece of crap. Please understand why i'm suspicious. I played this morning in one of my c.c. tournaments i had 8 putts for birdie or eagle inside of 5' didn't make one birdie the whole round? The matter isn't line it's distance on short putts. Can someone explain to me how i can lag a 75' putt to 1.9' with touch, for eagle, & can't make the birdie from 1.9. I firmly believe you would come to the same conclusion. I don't give up to easily on anything but it's come to the point where i must move on. Any suggestions would be welcome. Sorry for my rant i can't contain it.

That's a rather harsh judgement on something you've only had for one day. Give yourself a bit more time to get used to it and then come back and give us a more balanced view.

the level 51 nike improved my putting from day 1 , so I do not agree with you here.

it was a great putter , and I now play the 77 nike , it is slightly better.

I used the TM Ghost putters for most of my time here at WGT. I found the lvl 35 Ghost gave me better results than the lvl 66 Ghost.

I switched to the Nike Method 001 (lvl 77) back in March, and I immediately started making more putts. In particular I started making more long putts.

For short putts with the Nike Method, I found missing the ding worked better than moving the aim point and hitting on the ding.

From looking at the OP's putting stats and the high % of 3 putts I would suspect distance control is an issue, To address that I would recommend a putter pal scale aid. For just 10 credits you can get the WGT Putter Pal and copy the scale onto a piece of paper that is then taped to the screen for use.

I hardly ever hit the ding. I allow for the break and aim accordingly. I've tried the other putters but for me I prefer the Nike. You do have to hit harder on the shorter putts but you get use to that. I also like the 10ft increment instead of the 15ft increment.

I agree with courteneyfish. There are no bad clubs, only bad players.

A putter is personal preference and you have to play a lot of shots to get use to it. The worse thing you can do is keep changing putters. There is no magic wand, you just have to practice.

I use the Nike higher level putter (level 80 or something). It's the same meter increment 10 ft 20 ft 50 ft,,,,

I don't even use that '10 ft' scale on short putts! It wanders all over the place.

If I have say a 7 f. putt? Slightly uphill for instance an inch. I always use the 20 ft. scale. Sometimes I offding and sometimes I aim. But I find the 10 ft. scale only handy for like ski-slope downhill putt with very little break.

Long story short. Try practicing using the 20 ft. scale on the meter for short putts. I feel you will find that you can hole more of the short putts easier, just don't hit it TOO hard.

Instead of jumping in with both feet, read over there---------------------------->>>>>>>>

putting tips, look up Nivlac, Stonecold Killer, and search for 'Golds' putting formula in community help i believe.

Have a read maybe then erm go and practise?

I have just moved on from the Nike Method to the Versa level 96, but I was most reluctant to do so, the Nike is wonderful.

As for scale, anything over 14 feet I used the 50 scale, the 10 only for putts under 5 feet. and all else the 20, as most of my putts are under 20 feet.

The 10 scale requires a little more power than normal, e.g.  5 foot putt on fast greens hit six.

You'll get better results moving the aim marker, on a breaking putt, and also miss the ding fractionally on the high side.

    Hope this helps
