I'll just round up this thread by asking the OP why, having made his longest putt of just under 102ft on the 17th November, he buys a new putter 5 days later (the Nike Method).

I cant stress enough how bad this putter is!!!!

Was going to comment but see that you rented the 66 Ghost. What's your take on that compared to the Nike so many like?(Never used the Nike, had the 92 Ghost since the day it came out.)

LOL, why would you ask that, he's been playing since last month and buys 2 to 3 sleeves of balls a day! There's a gold mine of info waiting to be found! LOL

What better way to help an individual than to try and understand his mind set?

Okay, I use the Nike and have never tried the larger scales for short putts. Here is my method for all scales, "L" actually meaning a spot just to the right of the "L" in "ORIGINAL":

    ......................................Full....................."L"......................half

    10-foot scale...............13.......................10........................6

    20-foot scale...............27.......................22........................13

    50-foot scale...............67.......................55........................34

    100-foot scale.............140....................110......................65

The values creep up because I want a putt that goes 2-3 feet past on all misses, not one that goes 10% past. These seem to work well for me. What do you guys think? How do you figure distance using the 20 or 50 scale for a 5-6 foot putt?

hi akk447, I completely agree with you. I bought a nike  putter it reallyno good . I had

a taylor putter I bought for 4.95 and it was a LOT BETTER THAN NIKE $22.00 PUTTER

and cost a lot less and made birds. got a nike putter, couldn't make a bird.. took 100 games to make one , then lose one...

you have an average of 77,
    here's a hint: it's not the putter's fault
