I have a lvl 35 ghost spider that I love.  I wanted to upgrade a few days back so I bought the nike 001.  I will have to agree it is all preference but I played that nike putter for 3 days and I HATE it.

I recently went back to the ghost spider and will NEVER go away from it.

As far as this thread goes.  Why do some people turn everyone's threads into a bashing about how bad they are.  Did u ever think that maybe they where buying better clubs to try and IMPROVE their game.  U people make me sick

Skill level has an impact on perceived club performance, and on the weight given to a players opinions regarding club or ball performance.

Once you get used to a putter with a 15 foot increment it isn't easy to change to one with a 10 foot one. The best upgrade from a Spider is a Versa.

I promised my baby that I wouldn't stray from her again.  She is being very nice to me.  No Versa for this guy lol

I have the 77 Nike and 92 Gost, and I got to say they are real good putters the only thing is you must give it a bit off time to get used to it.

I played the 35 Gost for a very long time and I liked it a lot but wanted a bit more precission and never felt sorry for upgrading.

I shot a 61 at St-Andrews with a startersball using the Nike 77 that sayd it all for me.

When I'am a bit firm with the short putts i use the  77 Nike otherwise the 92 Gost is my favorite putter.

I gave it 3 straight days and I play a lot.  I still get it out and go into practice rounds with it.  I figure if i am working on other stuff that putter might as well be included.  I just can"t figure it out.  tried using the 20 ft. meter and everything.

When I bought the Nike 001 my average went from a mid 65 to almost a 70 in 3 days.  I know I shouldn't have used it in ranked and scored rounds right away but I am pig headed lol

The spider is being very good to me and at this point it is worth it's weight in gold.

The old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind.

That was true for me. To endeavor improvement, I sold my L70 Versa for $6.25 and purchased the L94 Nike Method for $34.50. After 40,000 putts with the 15ft increments, the 10ft scheme seemed smart..it was so smart, that after two games I sold it back for $8.13 and repurchased the L70 Versa for $24.95. All of this in 30 minutes. I am on the very cusp of L96 and intend to purchase the L96 Versa the moment after reaching that level.

Just got this putter a couple three weeks ago and love it. IMO I think it is worth it  This coming from a Max master putter that has 10ft increments out the wazoo. I still hate 15 ft increments but for me dealing with that is worth what I get elsewhere. So if you already use a Versa, i am pretty sure you will enjoy this putter.

I had some tell me it was not worth the 4000 credits, but i disagree. I wish I would have saved my stats when i got it to see how they improved, but i know sinking 10-15 footers has become much easier and more comfortable then with my Max

I think with putters it just depends on the putter and the person and their ability to learn the new nuances that putter has, as they all have them. Some are easier than others and some take more time and some for some people will just never work.  I have tried a few of putters on the free rentals. I quite like the 77 and 94 Nike and had the Versa not existed I surely would have gone with the Nike. I haven't tried any of the Spider putters and now it is highly unlikely that I will.

Good luck all with whatever you choose. Putters ar very personal
