  Nobody can actually steal directly from you.  The theft being discussed most of the time is sandbaggers and multi-account holders entering Ready Go tourneys or playing match play games against other players for money.

  Since they have a clear advantage over the regular players in their tier they have a good chance of winning, therefore taking credits away from those who might actually have deserved them.

  It is certainly a form of theft but don't worry, nobody will pick your pocket here.

  If you mean WGT closes your account due to suspicious activity I don't see why they'd do this as long as you aren't doing anything dodgy.  Even then it seems to need something pretty damn obvious to make them take action.

  If you're referring to WGT just disappearing one day without any warning and without anyone being refunded the credits they have or the value of their gear, I think this is pretty unlikely.  I hope so anyway.

  Welcome aboard SJD, I would agree with everything Mainz has just said, but level 38 and you have not yet ventured into ranked rounds as of yet.

  IMHO you are already outside the box, a few days and level 38 is suspicious, assuming this was done through practice rounds you might be getting better and should venture into ranked round play before you get the hang of the play here. It's very dangerous to play 500 practice rounds then play your first ranked round. There is a normal progression that over the years people have seen and if you should venture outside the norm people here will raise a flag.

  I see you have found the forums, there is a ton of information here to help with your game play, keep reading these, they are as valuable as practice play IMHO.

  About WGT closing your account, I've been here a long time, WGT does not willy nilly close any accounts, they have done so in the past, but it's because there was some evidence of being a multiple account holder. What the evidence is I'm not clear what that is or would/could be, you should be fine provided this is and remains your only account. WGT sees and knows all, they have NSA links.

  Amen to that statement. I did get across this guy in match play for credits and just out of curiosity I checked forums; and BAM...something smells.

  But still...if you take a look at that tournament "fejttom" is a beast comparing to guy you writing so much about. Guy wins 90% of tournaments he enters and he barely tries them once of twice. Account started in October as well.

  I don't really care how many accounts people create as long, just as they don't rob others of credits.

  My suggestion is that you work your way up to Legend+, then play all the RG's you like. 99% of your fake accounts are going to be at the lower levels. Everyone above Tour Master is pretty good, and they are unlikely to turn that kind of profit up in the WGT stratosphere.

  10 RR's....9th was a 56 in the GolfNow Tourney and 10th was a 33 in the weekly Par 5? Yeah, you should be worried about WGT CLOSING your account. You posted this comment the day after joining. Same crap that happened (different player) in Pro tier of Trans. Tourney.

  I'm new here, been playing almost straight the last 48 hours, very addicting indeed, I was just thinking of dropping a ton of dough on some equipment, but this thread has me concerned on 2 levels.

  This is not a cheap site, just checked out the pro shop, and holy freaking cow is this place ever expensive.

  My practice has been getting better and better, I'm playing a little better, I think I might get to be a bogie golfer with better equipment maybe, but should i be worried if I spend my hard earned dollars and 1 it gets stolen by cheaters or WGT just up and closes my account or both.

  There is no one else playing this IP address that I know of, not sure how that works, whethers it's an apartment or neighborhood address thing.

  Should I be worried and just keep playing free, or just move on altogether.

  Questions for WGT (i would appreciate an answer)

  Should i bother with RGs, Will the cheats always take 1st?

  Can i have my credits back from the RG ?, i do not think it was a fair comp.

  ** Many of us are wondering LordDunne, when it comes to answers and refunds it's anybody's guess.. but I wouldn't  be holding my breath mate. **
