To LordDunne; I was not saying you personally were trolling.

To those referring to me a moron etc in regards to posting here and apparently ousting myself... looking quite obviously at the post history you can see in the first post I was identified through a link. A few posts later, WGTicon noted they'll look into it prior to me commenting. Clearly me posting here is completely irrelevant. The morons are those who have called me a moron for that reason.

For those of you who don't recognise that a sandbagger will perform well but will also taper their performance as to not perform overly well are ignorant. I have played against many that clearly have made sure they do not perform overly well, including in RG's.

    Haha, I suspected as much

I was playing this guy yesterday. The first oddity I experienced was that he didn't wish me good luck when I did so to him, nor did he thank me when I congratulated him on good shots/putts made. I'm not petty, but most WGT regulars have the courtesy to respond in kind to such niceties

He was beating me, I must say, and I noticed he was rather good for a tour pro.

I checked his account and I then saw he has only been playing for a month (or so). Whilst I did not directly accuse him of cheating (not that I would do that anyway...how can I, with no evidence?), I suggested that he was very good for somebody who had only been playing for a month. He immediately disconnected, never to return

I'm glad there are other people who have seen through his apparent dishonesty

    Juasert:

Expose myself to what? Getting booted off a virtual game?...

I couldn't help commenting that is true; but only because people in this group and others get riled up continually over players you believe to be cheaters/ multi-accounters and sandbaggers; often wrongfully.

It's quite simple, baggers who have the same IP address should and will be removed. Otherwise there is no conclusive evidence to do so. WGT's assumption is that they may be well skilled or had practiced on, for example, somebody else's account.

As for score and general profile history, my understanding is that baggers manipulate not only averages but MP history also; amongst other things. But people keep playing them so they don't need to bother too much changing things. If a player is so worried about a bagger, they could easily check the account, even a highly manipulated account, and see a bagger in a short amount of time.

And as for 'daddy is watching'; how many people do you think they actually get rid of? And if they do make an example of one of these people that hasn't multiple IP addresses, don't you think they'll just go back and start again anyway on a new or old one?

You think that low-scoring posters and apparent cheats are all idiotic, but that can only be true if they were concerned about getting booted. Also, my understanding is that baggers enjoy playing other baggers because they don't have to put up with idiots, possibly like those that make comments similar to those in this group, angry at them despite them having plenty of time to get a run-down of that players previous performance and equipment; there is limited disguising in profiles.

I also believe that there are so many multiple accounts out there that belong not necessarily to 'cheats; as such, but to those people that despite reading the rules of having one account, don't realise what they'e doing. And what about those people that have played many rounds on an account they haven't created? This may not be strictly allowed, but how many people are bothered? How could combating this be enforced anyway?

So you're welcome to call people dumb arses all you like, but the fact that you can't see past apparent 'cheats', without feeling angry, aggressive, irritated or happy at the opportunity to get on a misguided troll fest, actually points towards flaws in your own intelligence.

Lastly, and personally, if WGT for some unknown or wrongful reason were to remove me. How bothered do you think I'd be? A little bit maybe as it is a good game?....but not really. Even, hypothetically, if they had a legal basis to ask back for all of the credits $$ I had ever won;...... still not bothered. These points I've made don't just come from those baggers that I'm happy to play against, they are easily acquired facts. Doesn't take much to come across them.

    Holy.....  lol.

Unbelievable really. Hmm.... reading all of that nonsense ^^^^^ tells me one thing.

Question for you mate...... how many accounts have you had here??

    10?  20?

Flaws in my own intelligence because i hate cheats???

This dude has no morals at all.

Sooo..... like you said who cares if they ban your account,,,, because at that point you will just open another.

Sooo why doctor the stats then.... why not just steal from the get go??

You think stealing credits off honest lower tier players is a good thing??

Baggers like playing baggers, because they don't like playing idiots??  That is a good one.....lmao!  That is some beautiful thinking there....man o man.

Sounds to me trying to come up with any excuse to cheat and steal.

So because you can open another account after than ban you makes it okay?

Sorry mate i can't understand one thing that you have said. And.... probably never will,, because i don't think like that mate.

i'm a real golfer with integrity,,, something you know nothing about.

    This post^^^^^

Does anyone here understand a word of what he just said?

Ignorant??   Everyone here knows what you are doing.   lol

Sounds to me like you think its okay to cheat and steal from lower tier honest players.

    What a jewel you are!!

In response to your questions/comments Gerald:

-No, i commented on flaws in your intelligence because cheats are easily avoided and your posts suggest that you don't avoid them.

-Two obvious reasons multi's doctor stats from the get go; 1) limited access to multiple IP addresses, 2) the need to keep a single account as to gain the benefits of getting higher levels - i'm sure there're many more

-I don't think stealing from lower tiers is a good thing; it discourages them. However, I can't imagine that many new players would actually play for decent amounts of credits anyway, if they do even play for credits at all.

-It is well known that an idiot, or a briefly foolish person, that plays a bagger for credits, will often get angry when they're losing. It is this anger, in any type of WGT game, that detracts from the level of enjoyment and for that reason, I've noted that baggers tend to say that they prefer playing other baggers.

I can't respond to you talking about being a 'real golfer' in regards to a virtual game; it seems ludicrous.

I can't respond to bans as this doesn't apply to me.

I will say that those that directing anger to apparent baggers are misguided. It is systemic failures with WGT that underpins these issues. You're going to see more and more baggers and cheats in general and I predict that the percentage of these players will be exponentially positive. This is however not at all a new thought; as most will know.

I had previously thought that people here had missed the point as to me posting on this thread. But I now think that the nature of this topic has meant that the more intelligent people have simply bypassed it. Nevertheless, comments regarding RG randomisation are valid, albeit a popular point made in other threads.

I come here for fun, never play RGs and don't play any credit tournaments.I am trying to beat MY best scores.I  don't scam anyone out of credits but I don't get scammed either,it's all about the game, which I enjoy tremendously.I am nowhere near any top level player.I have 3 kids ,no time get that good or maybe I'm just not that good anyway,LOL.I just made Tour Master today by draining a 28 foot putt to get to 63 average. That was like winning 1,000 credits to me.I am probably not a Tour Master level player as I could not maintain a 63 by playing Oakmont or Bethpage.I think my low round ever is like a 65.I buy a lot of credits and enjoy the game.I wasn't going to buy credits originally but I figured that I spend 50  bucks going out for a night and I can get a lot more hours of enjoyment for just 20 bucks worth of credits at a pop,so it's worth it to me.Also, these forums are a real riot to read, the catfights in here are great entertainment for free.See you around, people, good luck from Boston.

Twice I've seen you mention this-in this thread...very contradictory to what sand baggers do.

I suppose you feel MA'ers prefer to play other MA'ers as well?

Could you explain the logic behind that please?  (just your observation, not mine, but should hold for both situations)

Me avoiding cheats?? lol.... that is a good one.... I beat them down....lol. My putter is afraid of no cheat! Until they come out with a cheat for putting.... i'm good. I love nothing better than to smash a cheats azz.

Nope... you were right the first time,,, i still don't know why you posted in this thread.

Maybe i'm just not that intelligent to understand anything you just said.

I will say though after reading all of what you have posted,,, i have come to one conclusion.

My conclusion since WGT doesn't police this site like they should..... players like you will take advantage of every situation made possible.
