No, no, no, no........ya'll got it wrong!  There are many options for setting the pins between what you want or expect and what the game decides to give ya.  Everything is controlled by VEM and the Pin Mixer-Upper modules in the game's programming as shown in this Top Secret Software Diagram.  I'm not ready to talk about it yet.

LOL - remarkable presentation Andyson! I bet VEM changes the pins while the approach shot is airborne!

Back to my observations: I played STA F9 "easy pins" again, one "hard" and two "easy" in total. The result is, 3x identical pins in all three rounds, 4x variable "easy" positions, meaning that they once copied "hard" and once not, and only 2x "easy" positions being constantly different from "hard".

That means, only 2/9 = 22 % of the time they are really different between only three rounds. Thus, I'm not convinced of dedicated "hard" and "easy" pin positions.

Nevertheless: Thank you Tiger for your insight!

Gee, you'd think that for a few hundred credits you could buy an accessory that allows the VEM to play in your place.....

Going to take WAY more than a couple  hundred credits to get rid of THE VEM.          Andyson  has his price to spill the beans, ask him what it is.   ;-))
