    In all my prior posts, I neglected to mention that as anyone who has ever played the game irl knows, all golf courses are designed for either a straight shot, a fade or a draw.  Yet here, the wind dictates play not course design.

    I cannot comprehend how difficult it would be in programming the ball dot to move to any position and the unpredictable results from doing so.  But this is exactly what WGT members need...to attempt to control as best as possible, the results. This is why there is discussion of higher tier levels from TL. The present results are too "predictable" and can be mastered. The harder it is to control, would eliminate players with a HC of 10-20+ under par. No matter how it is designed, everyone would be subject to the same level(s) of difficulty and learning curve.   

    Unpredictability is what all games are based on.  In its present form, WGT does not have enough.  I'm by no means a programmer, but do believe it could be done.  Why not put a team together to work on incorporating this while leaving the present method intact until you've got a version ready for us to find needed tweaks? 

    Again, jm2 cents worth.

    I've had pretty good results from intentionally missing the ding right or left on various wind conditions, but you also have to aim the ball right or left and watch your power and bkspin. What gets me is when you aim to the left on a left to right wind and ding it, it's like you never moved the aim at all. Its like it never registered with the game. Aim 15ft to left for 10 to 15 wind and ding it, it goes 10 to 15ft to the right. Confusing to say the least,my math aint that bad. Just gotta hit your putts is how I figure it

    That's what I would expect...i/e 15 feet roughly two flag sticks...not near enough with R11's and Nikes, playing the ding.

    I agree, not enough for the wind - also depends on how far out you were playing from.

    One hole that I am wary of going too far left is 18 at CCC - wind L-R seldom has the same effect, I wonder why?

    i would like to make a suggestion:  how about a daily log in gift of credits  say 10 everyday for a log in and play....   i have as of this post 308 straight days play and  a daily log in would really help out... when there are no videos to watch...

    A seven year old thread resurrected...  

    The OP thinks this is a golf simulator, which it is not... not even close, but it's still a fun arcade style golf game designed for the masses. There are golf sims out there like Xbox or Playstation and others that provide a much higher degree of difficulty with many variables... aka; ways to screw up. 

    Basically for the casual player, if the game is too tough and demanding, they will go elsewhere out of frustration.

    Tis true, however, for the money wgt rakes in selling balls and clubs to the players who desire a more realistic experience, their marketing team is missing a $$$ opportunity.  Program the left and right side spin into certain advanced clubs that players have to buy.
