I see all this as another attempt to make the game more realistic. On a real golf course this would be worth a lot to the pros. On a computer game I see this as a total waste of the programmers time. Fix the computer issues that players have brought to your attention for over 5 years. Stop the nonsense and get down to the real basics of the glitches. This may impress a few of the folks here, but it has done nothing for me. Wind 9-12, so hit what, for a 10.5 wind. We are still at the mercy of the program. I am not putting down WGT or anything else here. I just see it as another gimmick. When I saw this last night I thought now WTH. Whats next? Garmin range finders in the pro shop. Just give HP his yellow Callies and fix the problems that have persisted for years.

Well the truly comical numbers they've added is the wind numbers. WGT does not use any type of real-world wind modelling in this game. The twitching and fluttering of the flag is purely for visual effect.

Wind in this game is an absolute value applied the second you hit the ball. Your ball in flight is not subject to gusts, or swirling wind effect as it passes out of a dense tree line for instance.

All they've really done is added another element of confusion as you try and guess which number is being applied to your shot.

    10 Million registered players.... lmfao....
