EeeeK!...... Mr. Murray looks to be on the verge of leaving the event!

As I post he's 2 sets down and  2-5 down in third.

    C'mon Andy!

    *All over -  3 straight sets :(

Went last week. Five hours in the Queue. It was an experience. Decided one day was enough. Worth every cent, er..pence.

    Bye Andy, bye Rafa.

Actually, I don't understand why the men singles are so boring. Usually in the semi final, the 4 players that enter would be the top 4 in ATP rankings. But now, it is so messed up! Nadal is now out and so are the others.

But, men would always be nicer to watch than women. :D

Cheapest quote I could get for the Final......

As you know, ppl buy tickets 7 yrs in advance with no interest in the sport , just to sell on too ppl who HAVE especially Wimbledon, not an 80.000 stadia :)  ( waited 2 yrs for a semi, no pun intended )

To answer your other question.. a one way flight to Gatwick was 112 euro's..3 day hotel bill was £720 for 4 star.....would've got a 'stand by' on return....

if I felt like seeing my step siblings in Yorkshire for return flight + cost of hire car, restaurants , incremental costs,  etc etc  x2 remember...have to take Lisa with me even though she is not as much of a tennis fan as I...It would have been a good trip I thought as she has never been, ??

As I said , not worth my expenditure for the match that is now not possible !! LOL

    Andy

Conversely, I would not play 20p to see a women's final.

But if you really are a tennis fan (or any other sport) the amount you pay to see a once in a lifetime event pends on what you can afford.
