I think they did themselves proud in this World Cup. I wish England had shown the same passion & desire that the USA team showed.

Kudos to the USA team. Every time i see them, they seem to have improved a lot. They put up a great showing in this world cup, no doubt about it.

The USA have been a breath of fresh air in this world cup, they play the game in the true spirit.  It's been a pleasure to watch a team of limited ability maximise their potential with a never say die attitude.

The one thing that separates the USA  from other countries and keeps us in so many matches is.    Our Goalie.  And he is the best in the world.     TIM HOWARD.      I just wish  Team USA would not have lost Altidore.    It was going to be a deeper run had he not got hurt.    He also is tops when it comes to Centers.     I tip my hat to all the World Cup Teams.   Its been a Great Cup.        Now I like Germany to win it all.   Those guys are tough.

If the USA continues to develop it's interest in football, or should I say soccer, then by the next world cup we could very well see them going all the way.  A few years ago they were nowhere in the world of international football, now  they can count themselves among the best in the world.

The simple fact that they have a population of 318 million means they have to be able to find 20 or so brilliant players.  Compare that to Germany with a population of 80 million or Belgium with a mere 11 million.

The numbers are in their favour.
