To Frankc48 and all other members of Senior Citizens CC, as mentioned our club was in the same position and I tried many ways to resolve the matter including pleading with WGT for a variety of solutions. They did at least try to get in touch with the club owner whom had disappeared for several months but to no avail and eventually I had to plan to reform the new club and migrate all the members willing to move on.
I know and have played along side several of the Seniors members and sincerely hope you all stay together. If you eventually do have to reform in a new club, above all the considerations of XP levels and targets that drive the game........(.they'll take care of them selves).........concentrate on maintaining the friendships and loyal support of the membership. Without my members being in agreement and having their full support and backing our club wouldn't have survived no matter who was in charge.
Easy Ed was and still is indeed a great help with suggestions and ideas as it would not also be a new start for all the members but also a new learning curve for me too being the new owner.
If WGT change the system in the near future then maybe other clubs which fall into this trap may not have to go through it all ever again.
Until then I have entrusted arrangements with 2 loyal members for the log in details ( and hence transference of the club ownership ) should anything happen to me.
I do hope a solution can be found and offer my good wishes and support if needed.
