Yeah, I don't doubt it. I don't gamble and pay no attention to earnings. I have my own money. I would only provide the purse, but not play for it. ~ Lily ~

Thanks all for the replies and suggestions, but I don't see anything there that's workable. the PayPal idea is a bit of a risk, it would require a lot of trust.

The new idea to help improve our club that was put to our members at Easter week has got a great response.  Of those that responded (20+), 100% have endorsed the Pledge Proposal.  This pledge proposal has been adopted by the club.

The proposal was that members make a credits/equipment pledge towards the Fair Play Golf Club Calendar Tournaments (now 18) prize fund, and that this should be part of our club membership policy.

The minimum pledge is 250 credits or equipment to that value.  Over 12,000 credits and some sleeves have been pledged so far.  All those that made a pledge will sponsor one or more prizes in our Calendar Tournaments, these are played from April to November, the Fair Play Golf Club season.

Unless WGT give us the credit bank that the clubs want, the FPGC will use the 250 pledge idea as a trial/template for an annual pledge membership contribution, starting 2016.

If any club owners would like more information about how we run our Calendar Tournaments, friend and message me, I'll be glad to pass on our ideas.

    Thanks again, Dubfore.

Our Club is "Play For CREDITS Country Club"....so we have to come up with an innovative way to do that! Because ALL our tournaments are "interactive LIVE PLAY"!

We use the WGT tournament format as a "Registration format" ONLY. Whereby the players put their credits in as if they are playing a tournament (usually 200 to 500 credits).... we call it the "Purse Set-up".

Then we have a way for only the 3 placement winners to go back to redeem the purse credits at the end of each tournament. It work swell.....we have been using it for a couple of years now. This way WGT still get their 20% and control the pay-outs to the 3 placement winners.

We are currently working on a way to involve random clubs in our Club Tournaments using the same system. We have over 25 interactive  "LIVE PLAY" CREDITS TOURNAMENT each month with "Credits Purses" using this system. Players feel safe putting their credits in (like a normal WGT format tournament) and allowing WGT to pay-out to the three winners....rather than a particular person doing it.

An organized Club Bank would solve this problem. At the present this is the only way we have found to accumulate credits for an "interactive LIVE PLAY tournament. Message me for more information!

I've enjoyed membership there, and hate to leave, but that's always the last option.  Any suggestions from you here (or by PM), or from anyone reading this would be appreciated.

I thought their counter to that was to only make career earnings count when you play a tournament with 10+ contestants.

Thanks for the offer thesnakeyes, but i have something else in the works.  Sadly, this problem exists almost everywhere.  Good luck with your CC.  It appears the only way to keep an active club is to keep getting rid of the dead wood on a regular basis.
