Agree on Pebble, but I think the one difference is that most people who have played golf sims have played Pebble at one point or another, as early as Links. I got to play the course in real life too, and it was amazing. I think the impact of Augusta National is that everyone knows the course, but they've never before let it be used for a golf sim.
I think we all prefer WGT to TW, but there's no disputing that WGT needs to get some courses out there. The ones we have are awesome, but with the same pin positions, etc. I understand it's complicated, it would just be a shame to have a great sim die bc of loss of interest or funding or anything along those lines.
