When I first started there were far fewer green speed options. Back then you had your power dictated by the name, be it fast, slow, etc etc.

Nowadays the stimp speed can vary regardless of the named green speed.

Sooo... a good place to start is just ignore the named green speed and go purely by the stimp reading shown and divide it by 9.*

Add elevation shown, add a foot or so depending if you ram putts or wipe yer feet before fist pumping the air...

    e.g.

30 foot putt, 6 in up, on Championship greens (14.5 in this example) for me would be:

    37 x 0.63 = 23.31

    24ft of power

*Young46's wonderful video tips (via YouTube) is the place I first saw the above.

    Update:

Apologies, just reread the exact title of the thread.

    NO I DON'T.

    :)

Post on Young46's wall asking for a link to his putting calculator. It is the best I have ever tried. It is spread sheet and will work on MS Excel or Apache Open Office.

Here is a distance chart one of our members came up with. Once you do the elevation adjustments, the distance seem to work well for the setup I am currently using.

    Putting Distance Chart

I hope other players find this information useful, this chart has improved my distance control immensely while on the greens.

    Play well,

There's a link to it on his youtube video about it.   I really like it for sneaking in rounds at work.  If anyone sees it up, they think I'm just working on another spreadsheet.  I just have to hid the gameclient LOL.

Hi, what do you mean by "elevation dependent" on the T13 downhill figures?

    I use a formula given by young46

(7.9/greenspeed)*distance + elevation (plus or Minus) + adjustment

    For elevation adjustment

    $up=1.3   down =-1.9
