GoodyChamp:
Reading all above, I seriously think there's a market/demand 4 2011 Ping & Cleveland Irons. I wrote something about it in another thread (see beneath). If there's many players who support it, maybe WGT will introduce them soon. Please lets here your voices! :)
" Since the last update we have the new TM-irons. Nice, but there's 1 problem 4 me, I don't fancy the meterspeed. I hope it's possible 2 introduce a new Ping Legend Iron set , or Clevelands. It would be gr8 2 have them with the same meterspeed as the G10s and other specs similar 2 the new Tms. Hope u can do this within a month or so WGT. I'll buy them 4 sure."
Cheers, GC
There probably will be a new set when Roayl St George come's to play next month, and every one's rushed out to buy the new clubs (myself included) and i bet a new level 85 iron comes out with a slower meter, and all who've bought TM Burners will feel inferior once more, and rush out to buy the new clubs, giving WGT a nice $50 lump sum in a month. Heck, good marketing technique WGT. And who's going to notice, or care the fact we've just spent $50 for clubs in less than a month, especially with the new courses we've got to occupy us..LOL
Back to new Srixon balls, Although you loose a fraction with srixon balls distance wise (not much, i assure you) they're a hidden gem, i find working out yardage is more consistant on long irons, and with the new irons, they stop as well as callaways, they last just as long and missing the ding line is not too bad, much more forgiving. Try using these when having a round with friends, and stick to Callaways for tourney's etc etc., but i scored my best score at Congress C C with these balls, and not Callaways
Since writing this above, i've just scored 58 at Congressional Qualifier, so looks like i'm sticking to the new ones (:, even overshot #14, went round the bowl above hole, and rolled back down to within a yard of pin, and overshot #17, but ball rolled back down to within a yard, one of those rounds where everything goes right. (for a change)
