  Actually, I was referring to gifting through the pro shop. I don't know what it looks like after a game.
  
  Yes, you're correct that there should be a confirmation page that pops up. And yes, it sounds like they should make it a bit more obvious about the cost.
  
  But, as you mentioned, customer service made the situation right for you. I've found customer service to be terrific. Additionally, at the risk of sounding overly critical, I'm still a bit surprised that a person would think gifting of balls would be free.
  
  I mean, you already knew that balls, other than the starter ones, cost money. Why would anyone think that gifting would be free? If that were the case, players would never buy balls. They would simply gift them to each other.

  Again, it doesn't specifically say what the gift is... it didn't say "these are balls, and you can give them as a gift." It literally just has a little gift box with a ribbon on it at the bottom of the screen and you can click on it after you've finished a match. I had no idea what the gift was, how much it would cost, or even what the button did... obviously it gifts the player, but I thought it would take me to a selection of things I could gift someone, not just immediately gift something and take my credits. So yeah... I had no idea they were golf balls.

  But like you said, everything has been taken care of, and yes the customer service was awesome. Yes, it was a pretty stupid mistake, but I honestly didn't think it was a one-click thing, regardless if I thought it would be free or not, I really didn't think it would just take one click. What's done is done, and it's not even an issue now, and I'll be sure to watch what I'm doing in the future.

  Robert,

  After you said that the first time, I did recall that at the end of AS or MP it would show the other players in the match, and the balls they used in the round.  I'm pretty sure it did show the price for a sleeve.

  However, it's been a while since I've played any of those formats, so it's possible it's been changed.  Life always has to interfere with Golf, even here, with things conspiring to keep you off the course..

  To BH:

  You will find that CS is very good about fixing things if you approach them in a polite manner.  The few times I've dealt with them they were great.  I'm glad they took care of things for you.

  Please feel free to ask questions when you have them, but remember the SEARCH box will usually allow you to find things out faster than waiting on a reply here.  There are lots of good threads about when and what level clubs to buy when you are ready.  Many of us made the mistake of buying too soon, only to find out they didn't help much at the next higher tier.  Just something to keep in mind.

  or at least it should give you confirmation. Like are you sure you would like to pay so so amount for this gift

  Completely agree.  Needs to be a confirmation button.  I accidentally gifted someone just by brushing the gift button without meaning to and there's no way to take it back. You can say lesson learned and be careful, but really, buying in the shop makes you confirm, why not in the game?

  100% agree, a confirmation button is very much needed.

  On mobile It is just so easy to brush the button when picking up your phone or something, it can be VERY discouraging when you accidentally send 600 CR to some stranger when you are planning to use the credits elsewhere. 

  Why not make gifting pop upsa setting option you can turn  on and off.. or maybe various options where you can set it to pop up for everyone, or just those on your friends list or in your club. At the very LEAST there should be a confirmation button.

  This can happen very easily, it seems like a common issue  and and its a simple  fix, one that could have easily been adjusted ages ago if they really wanted to avoid people bleeding off random credits.
