    No golfer in US Open history has been where McIlroy went on Friday, not even Tiger Woods in that coruscating victory at Pebble Beach in 2000 when he wiped the field by 15 shots. No, McIlroy is the only player to have stood at 13 under par.

    Watched most of the tournament today.  Rory is playing so well that it is inspiring to watch!. I really believe he will shake off the 80 at the last round of the Masters and go on to a nice victory!

    PS: His trip to Haiti was a real heartwarming story!  His is a wonderful young man!
