I personally think the idea of using avatar movements to determine distance is plain silly! You have a meter and you should use a % of it.

Oh noes, they changed the avatar movements?

I laughed like a drain for about 5 minutes...it was a silly idea in the first place!

    Hi Tezz,

well the outcome is more or less the same you know, even if the method is different. To use % you either need to glue a (paper) ruler under the meter on the screen or evaluate the % by eye (which in my opinion is not precise enough, but everyone has it's way of playing). So in short you need ideally graduations along the meter. Avatar movements were used as virtual graduations (but you don't need to glue anything on your screen and it was quite precise). For example the first movement from full shot was around 95% of power.

So I don't see what was so silly :) but perhaps I missed your point.

    Regards

I never used (nor use) avatar movements for anything.

I Didn't even know you could use the avatar to predict distance....

But I also don't know what you're complaining about... in the real world you can get up morning after morning to play golf and play well, but sometimes, not even just one round, you can't play well at all, or you play amazingly.

If you don't like it vote with your feet, and leave.

Yup.  Was fun for awhile... Until I woke up.

This game is formatted that hitting the ding is an excellent thing. Now you hit the ding with a crosswind, and the ball goes at the pin, then on the other side. Please do something to correct this. It is a pisser!!

That is really annoying - i've only been Master a few weeks, and in the CTTH Tournaments I like to play you now seem to get Heavy Winds all the time on Master tier, so this problem is much more apparent to me. I even lost at least one ball because of this on the recent Wolf Creek CTTH.  Might have to stop playing them, which is a major reason i enjoy playing this game in the first place ...

After reading this post I tried it out. If there is a wind over 8 mph and you go str8 at the pin ,You ding it, It does not go at the pin  depending on your angle to the green. If you are str8 up and down from the pin it does not . Show me a replay. I dont see it at all. The wind moves the ball in the direction it is blowing.

Unless your using a weighted ball :) .
