I think 'innocent until prove guilty' not the other way round as is often the 'trial by forum' we get on WGT.

Dont get confused by the current earnings, the high stakes RG's make it seem like you are earning shed loads, when in actual fact you may only be getting your stake back (or worse!). Play just 4 RG's per day but make them the two 500 credits ones, the 1k and 2k RG, play these for a month, and if you finish mid table and average just getting your stake back, your earnings will show $1200 for the month of November. That is a net loss if you only got your stake back and still had to buy balls / equipment.

I see the persons name above and below me on certain RG's, so what, he seems a decent bloke and is obviously not in it for the money, his development is easily explained by his levelling up, getting the better gear etc.

Im no Barry Greinstein but  do admire his style of giving back to others from his winnings.

     http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Greenstein

Its fun to win some credits and then give them back to community. in effort making  others on here experience a tiny bit better. I don't cheat or multiaccount to get them. I gather all the information I can and try to execute the shot the best I can. The drawings, contests and tourneys  are just my way of giving back to others. Some like it whether or not they benefit from it, some  say its done for attention or feel everyone should pay their own way.   Some use calculators(excell spreadsheet is a fancy calculator)  to figure out distance and putts, some prefer the pure method doing it all by feel 2 different schools of thought. Some golfers in real life use gps and yardage books others dont.    Some say toematoe, others say tomato, down here in south with use neither and call them matters.

This is a golf, lets have fun and enjoy.

You're right, this does happen but questioning something is not the same as accusing - but its life I'm afraid, when I played LS99 I was quite good at it, got to #1 on Cases and stayed there for about 3 months, but I never heard anyone accuse any player of cheating, previous #1's me or subsequent #1's - I doubt that would happen now - someone gets good questions are raised and are usually followed by an accusation

I hope this thread does not go down that route - an explanation has been offered and should be accepted, and for what its worth you (RUNWME) have my respect (and your wife) for putting in so much work to get to the point you've been noticed.

What you do with your winnings/earnings if your affair and all I was trying to point out that altruism does not necessarily make a good person and was not aimed directly at you so if that was not obvious in my post I apologise

I know this has been beaten like a dead horse...and...no offense to "that person with the incredible rise"..but, you've been fairly ingeniune about several things.  I was the one who originally questioned the Legend w/legend balls playing in the Tour Pro monthly.  You answered and we had a good conversation in the post and you publically said you would love to play and extended a friend request.  I thought that was a very good way to handle all of that and was happy to accept your friend request and said it was good to have open discussions and that I looked forward to playing you.   Within a day or two, you deleted me as a friend and we never played.  In a post on this thread, you named me as a rival with the best clubs...we've never played together or against each other before and I am far from a tournament regular. I also play with a Rapture 3 wood and irons...I choose them because I am no good with fast meters...my choice, but, far from the best clubs. You however had the advantage of all the legend balls and clubs in the Tour Pro tourney.  I harbor no ill will, afterall...it is just a game...but, please stop with the facade that you and I were rivals or friends, and that you wanted to "go head to head"...only to then delete me as a friend.  Clearly you play well...and for that..my congrats...but please drop the public "Mother Teresa" act...It's hard to fully support all of the nice thngs you've done---in regards to gifting clubs and such....and then see that, when dealing one on one...you're quite different. I'm long since past the monthly tourney question I originally asked...but, don't name me in a post and expect that I'll just keep my mouth shut about the "behind the scenes stuff".  Fair enough?...now...go play and enjoy the game.

You know what Russell....I think that puts it into a whole different perspective...lol. Yes..I can't wait for that trip to the Ryder Cup next year...Have been fortunate enough to go to Augusta twice (Phil won both of them), and The Open twice...but, a PGA paid trip to the Ryder Cup at Medinah will definitely be a special event for me. If it continues to shape up like it is, there will be quite a few new faces on the Euro team. The U.S. will also have a few newcomers...If selected today, the US qulaifiers would be:

    1. Keegan Bradley 1445.000 points

    2. Jason Dufner 865.000

    3. Phil Mickelson 847.143

    4. Dustin Johnson 802.992

    5. Steve Stricker 541.075

    6. Ryan Palmer 441.591

    7. David Toms 401.400

    8. Bo Van Pelt 390.088

Along with the 4 captains picks...probably, Furyk, Woods, and perhaps Mahan and Fowler...or Haas and Simpson.    But, a very long way to go until teams are decided.

    Anyway, Medinah, here I come.

ForrsetLeigh going back to your original post.  I have stated this from day 1 well actually as soon as forums were available back in 2008 about single round competitions and wind directions.  I was always for consistent wind directions.  I remember first open I played in and I received the worst possible wind directions where you where unable to reach half the greens on bethpage.  Very frustrating I shot 68 and knew that was the best possible score in that wind.  I still feel that winds should be similar if not the same.  Especially in high winds.

On a different note from the hijacked thread part.  I will state that if you have been playing golf games on the computer or video game unit it doesn't take long to figure this game out.  I have been on here since probably the first week of the game and there has been a great many of good players that came out of supposedly nowhere.  Tibbets was one of them.  He came on the scene and was beating everyone that been playing for a while.  I played many of rounds with the guy and learned a lot from him about the game.  Not only was he great player but a great individual.

I personally don't log much anymore on my shots.  But when I was serious about being the best player on this game I kept extensive details of every shot every wind.  I rarely had an off day and rarely missed a ding unless that stupid meter was off.  I was shooting in the 50's regularly on Bethpage when there was only two or three of us who would.

Don has been very generous to even some of us oldest players.  I personally have taken two breaks (6 and 8 months) and in a short while have been able to catch up on some my rounds with no records, graphs and grids.  If I had those graphs I am sure I would be consistently lower.  Makes me want to get back graphing.

Additionally I know first hand that multiple account players have been dealt with and I have seen them deactivated.  So I am not worried about that.  I am excited that this game continues to grow and we are having a growing number of good players.
