Well, I was thinking about seeing FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME IN WGT a 72 as the cut for the qualifying and a 68 as best qualifying score...just like in reality.

The very first Open at BPB was this way. Of course there was no such thing as Nikes or Callaways let alone R11s. In fact, I believe the only thing available worth anything was a longer driver and starter plus clubs. IIRC the cut was something in the 60s.

Other than the links provided by YJ, has anyone figured a way to play ranked or practice rounds on Olympic yet? Right now it looks like the only way we're supposed to play the course is full 18 holes in the quali Tourney. I'd like to play a couple of just practice mode rounds on either ther front or the back without playing in the tourney. Am I missing something?

No, CD, you're not. The course doesn't get released for multiplay until the Open is over. At least that's the way it's been in the past.

Thanks YJ. I haven't been here for a new US Open course to come on line until now. Taking a public beating just trying to learn the course from the back tees isn't as much fun as I thought it might be. The difference from the TM tees from a day ago are huge IMO.
