hahahah very true, i think a new tier would be great but ummm, yeah sandbagging is something to consider, as why they are trying to get around that, and for it being unfair in other countries, some countries cant even deposit money on here to buy eqquipment, russia for one. lol i wonder why?? can someone tell me lol .

    kotez,

Players from all countries should be able to purchase equipment and credits.  Certain countries (and US states) are restricted from playing certain tournaments due to local and national regulations on skill-gaming, but I believe everyone is able to upgrade.

I don't think that's true. VISA cards and MasterCards are international and are universally accepted, as far as I'm aware. Also, you can buy credits via PayPal, where all that WGT ever learns is the user's email address, which of course cannot be attributed to any particular country.

That being said, there seem to be very few Russian players on this site (other than purported G.I.R.L.s). And I'm afraid I couldn't practice my Russian with them, because the chat window in this game still only accepts letters from Western European alphabets. Maybe Russians don't feel welcome here if they can't even type a single word of their language in the chat-box. Russia is a huge potential market, so I wouldn't neglect them like this if I were WGT. I trust WGT will fix this soon and convert the chat-box into UTF-8 so that it accepts letters from all alphabets.

I don't think a new tier is a good idea.   I for one love competing against the top players, although I curse sometimes when I see their names in the ready gos I have entered.  It is a good way to see how I compare the the top players at WGT.

    Thanks,

LOL-soooo true. Nothing worse than thinking you did OK in one only to find the top of the leader board looks like 6 of the top ten earnings leaders also decided to play in that particular one!  :-(
