Member robbery? Low attitude?

  So if I get this right,a member left your CC and joined another1 the same day and this is robbery.I am pretty sure no one put a 9 iron to his head and forced him to hit the button,the choice is entirely his/hers. I am curious though  as looking at your CC I see you have 83 members but you only have 10 friends,so is owning a CC more of a status symbol for you the it is a place to meet,chat,and play with with your members as you do not have the option of knowing who is on line and available to play for 87/88% of your CC,S membership

  Yo dude who are you to attack a fellow WGT players integrity. You dont even know him.

  BTW adding too many friends interrupts gameplay for some. I know when I get up to  about 75 friends and gives me the stutters. I would tend to be more active on my CC's forum rather then a very buggy friend list.

  hi its barry38372 , yes im afraid that cc stands for you have to be great or nothing in my case , played with the owner of only the redeemed , and guess what he said about his club , "get this loud and clear" he plays under the radar ????? what is that and why would a owner of a cc say that to a potential prospect like me . i went to them played in dumb tuorney no one else played it was prac it was crap i have crappy putt and lousy game ,but this is the perfect example of how not to run a cc , and thak god i dont  because ,im holding back here really , yeah someone will see tommorow and say well con grats ,or, more likey what is this person saying. attention all golfers im sorry you have to see this this is embarrissing to me and all of you but if dont get this out of my head i will explode , i cannot belive that the wgt would fall so far to disgrace me when all i wanted was to get better and join a club ,well that will have to wait till everyone sees that im improving and maybey before i turn 51 someone will give me the respect that i do to otheres because i havent gotten any and i give all respect to this game to the people ,but my go when did i become the stupid joke here.

  Hey Barry,

  Take a look at The Glamouflage Fairplay CC. We accept all levels of players and we have a great crew there. EJBOT is the owner . Here is the link

  If they let me play (my skill level is pretty bad and so is my caddies LOL) they will let you play. We do have guidelines and rules of course. Mostly the owner requests that all member s are very active. We are looking for serious players, minimum requirements level 20 and 20 ranked rounds.

  All I can say is get a grip !

  There is no rewards for running a Country Club other than self satisfaction !

  As for poaching - really ? Are you serious ? This is virtual reality.

  We are all for the most part faceless and nameless and playing on our computers.

  I formed a club to have some fun and get a few guys together who company I enjoy and talking with whilst testing my skills (or lack thereof). We have a close knit group of 12 and run our own tournaments, put up our own prizes and have heaps of fun.

  I freely admit I have asked people who are members at other clubs to join in the past.

  BUT I first ask them if they do much at their existing club !!!!

  That's a two pronged question.

  1. I am interested in what others clubs have going on AND 2.

  2. to determine whether the player is getting satsifaction from his club.

  If he says yeah we have tourneys and stuff I take it no further. If he expresses dissatisfaction I invite him to have a look at what we have going on.

  HOWEVER I do not go out of my way trying to recruit people day in day out.

  As others have pointed out it can be a lot of work and quite tiring and time consuming.

  But please LOW ATTITUDE - MEMBER ROBBERY  - nahhhhhhhh get real !

  If that fellow really desired to change and brought that intention out, you could indeed make him the invitation. And you are very right with you moral obligation statement.

  Dear Barry, just saw that you have an invite pending from a CC that wants to have you as a member, hope you can take that one on and finally find what you are looking for and what you merit. You, next to the great majority here at WGT, are no stupid joke in my eyes, no worries.
