A member has just left my club, where seconds after that, I already spot that he/she became a member in another club where the owner had befriended that person (different continent) just today as well. Is that sheer coincidence, just bad luck or has a member of my Club been robbed to feed another's list??

I will probably never know. Fact is that when (heavily) recruting for my own Club, at least I have the dignity not to fish in other people's Club pool and avoid to contact players already listed in one. I do NOT have a LOW attitude!

Sincere and respectful comments are welcomed.

This has always been a problem and there is one owner that is notorious for doing this.... starts with a D and ends with MARK? His goal is to have the "best" club on WGT but by doing this I have a very good feeling he will never achieve his goal.. but I wish him the best of luck!

On another note... you may start to realize that running a CC is very time consuming and not as rewarding as you may have initially thought.  If you get frustrated with your club, I highly recommend retiring to East Coast CC along with your active members.  Maxwere does an amazing job with the club and continues to improve the club on a daily basis.  My retirement in East Coast has been great and continues to be great.... feel free to join me one day relaxing by Max's pool-side bar.  That offer is open to anyone looking for a hassle-free great club with a fantastic owner!

    Dear Cycle,

Thanks for the name. I will keep a close(r) watch for any obscure activities here and specially in my Club. Your second parapgraph is a commercial so not of use to me or anybody since I am well known to also have a nearly hassle-free Club with a responsible owner.

    VOY,

If I am correct your club is 9 days old?  Once you start running touraments, creating a website, and learning how to run a high level club on WGT you may understand what I'm talking about.  Good luck

LOL... I was a previous owner with a very busy club... I still enjoy WGT and enjoy the CC but I don't have to deal with ownership responsibilities anymore... "retired" in a way

Voy the member that was stolen, How long he he been on WGT . Usually newer people join the first club they see based on the clubs description and after they start meeting new people reconsider their first decision.

As far as a Club Owner going after members of other clubs well that is totally innapropriate and they should be banned from owning a club on WGT for doing such a thing. Of course you would have to drop names and have proof like an email or forum posting etc etc etc.

    Dear Pjctas,

The person involved has been around here for over 18 months, I hardly invite newcomers to the Club.

I have names and only hard suspicions, no explicit written proof. Damn!!!

Then that member should have been man enough or woman enough to let you know before making the switch. All you can do now is move on make your club a huge success and that person may regret the switch later.

    Good Luck Voy.

I agree totally, recruiting should be left to non members .
