Virtual Open Championship 2012?

  Now that we're more than halfway through May, it seems highly unlikely that we're going to get a 2012 virtual Open Championship on Royal Lytham.  Any speculation on whether we'll get another HD course instead this summer (or year) - or are consigned to one a year now?

  I would say that we'll definitely get another HD course this year. I would have liked to have seen the link with the R & A continue as there are some cracking Open Courses I would love to have seen on here. Still, it does introduce an element of surprise as to what the next course will be. A top European course like Wentworth or Valderamma would be my choice.

  Ya know.... (not to spread any rumors or anything) there is a little tourney that just happens to land a little bit before my birthday every year called "The PGA Championship".... and this year it just happens to be at a course that we are all very familiar with....  maybe a chance to update that course with new pins and such?

  Maybe somebody in the UK can run over to the BO course and see if camera crews and helicopters have been around. :-D

  Remaking Kiawah would be a great move. Cheaper, too.

  i say why dont we have the grand slam of the pga on here the four great courses where anyone is allowed to try and compete not pay fro cr and get a trophy and on top of that the top 100 players would get ,tier advancement by 1 , 500 cr to spend any way you want ,and a trophy with your name on it ,now check out that idea guys.

  Sounds interesting, but, no unlimited play!!
