Very nice.
What the hell do you call that; DOUBLE EAGLE....HOLE IN ONE...ON THE FLY///// WOW!!!!
You call that a amazing shot, an albatross on crack!
Just to clarify: it wasn't on the fly and they played off shorter tees, white ones I think.
So, yes, improbably yes, possible, yes. :)

So if WGT let Match Play shots count towards records pricehcs would be the only player on WGT with the Diamond holed approach award. But they don't want people doing well so it doesn't count.

No Doodles, hole-in-ones don't count as holed approach shots. Both my hole-in-ones are longer than my longest holed approach shot.
Regardless of what par is on a particular hole. Be it a par 3, par 4, par 5 a hole in one is exactly what it states. 1 shot from the tee box and the ball goes into the hole. PERIOD! Of course holed out approach shots do not count as holes in one because they are either the 2nd or 3rd or later shot.
HIO's are drives, not approach shots.

It should still count as one though. If a player plays a driver on the tee shot of a par 3 it counts as an approach shot, so why not if it's on a par 4?
It doesn't matter anyway - they were playing from ladies tees, so it was a practice game anyway, not scored :)
