  It doesn't matter anyway - they were playing from ladies tees, so it was a practice game anyway, not scored :)

  don't you hit from the ladies tees?

  So is it possible to knock one in on the fly?  I've hit a few that looked like they had a chance and have seen others do it as well--but never seen anyone jar it.  Will the game allow this?

  Maybe not with the driver but yes you can hit one into the hole on the fly. My first hole-in-one on here was hit into the hole on the fly.
