Two things you can gaurantee when you play St Andrews. #1: The ball will roll away from the pin but will rarely roll towards it and #2:no matter where you are on the green you will in all probability have a side hill putt.
Nothing is flattish at SA for sure other than 1, 9 and 10 ...
Now on 2, if pin is on the left, play to the top of the hill in front and trickle down putt back up doesn't break much.
Pin on right, stay to the right pin high fairly flat.
