Will the pin on #17 at Kiawah be back right? Would be nice!

No idea man.... the example I used on #12 was my own conjecture.... But a back right hole location on #17 is bound to give people heart attacks!!! That hole is daunting enough now for a lot of people!!

I'm sorry to disagree with you but the back right pin would be a lot easier. I've played it on TW10 and the back right is the easiest...You have room to miss it...and the green is considerably flatter...That front left is actually the hardest possible because the ridge behind, water short right, bunker w/ downslope left, and more nasty stuff back left make a 15-20 ft circle you have to put it in to make an easy par. Your circle is more than doubled with the back right pin...you just have to play left of the hole...short right water, short left flat putt, left flat putt, long left flat putt, long (depending) either an easy chip or a flat putt, long right a little dicey, right water...a lot more space...now going for a must make birdie with the wind down and off the right to that pin will be interesting LOL!!!

I want a back right on 13...try that 1! And a back left on 16 is the devil!!! Not to mention back left of 6- awkward, front right 18...

I believe I have confirmed that the new Kia 17 pin is back right...I hit to there and putted around and found that from 70 ft from the current pin, the camera angles were straight and when  I putted 2 ft over the camera angle changed!

The pin is always placed in the cup ... what we're talking about is hole locations, not pin placements.

Sorry, had to get that off my chest :)

I have to disagree with you Leon! The pin could be in your hand, your playing partners hand or maybe just lying on the green. It's a 2 stroke penalty to putt with the flag in as well so I would advise to pull it out.

While I don't disagree technically with you Will, psychologically it will be a lot more daunting for a lot of people, especially when the winds kick up L->R and the deviation are playing off the map.  That's a good 235-240 yards to the back (thanks Andyson) and a lot can go wrong with the slightest mis-click here in WGT land (as opposed to TW fantasy land).
