I have an either/or suggestion for the powers that be that has come to light after multiple rounds at Olympic.

    I would like to be able to swap out a club in my bag with a chain saw . . . . . . . .

    or . . . . . . .

I would really love the ability to pick my teeing spot on the tee box.

Several of my drives that have been eaten by trees I may could have avoided by being able to move the far left or far right of the tee box.

Having that and the ability to hit a true shaped shot would definitely improve my chances at Olympic.

    Thanks for listening

I've found that a lot of players seem to think they have to hit every drive at full strength. I find on Olympic it's sometimes better to ease off a bit and aim short of trouble. Especially if it still leaves you a shot to the green.

I agree!!!!!!!  GIVE us A CHAINSAW!!!!  Why should we be forced to use course management . Why do we have to think about shaping our shots off the teebox or laying off the drive a bit to find fairway as piztaker suggests?    Why can't we just grip and rip and hope it finds the shortgrass everytime without worry of fairway bunkers or trees ??

Why? OHHH yeah, because this is to emulate REAL golf and if the real course dictates you have to use your mind and plan shot execution, the virtual emulation you should also.

When you face a daunting tee shot think about how to go over, under, or around the obstacle. Would a 3w be a smarter play? Driver punch to flight the ball low?   Aim left and click the meter way late in dark blue to shape ball flight around tree?  Those types of decisions add realism and excitement to the game.  That is unless I hit the tree, then give me a freakin chainsaw!!!! LOLOLOL

Edit..... Thank you twomin for posting link to chainsaw. I just purchased it and am off to hole #5 Olympic. That tree has gotten me for last time ;-P

    Agreed.

Rather than jump on the "you're playing stupidly" bandwagon, I've had tee shots where it would have been helpful to move right or left a few feet.

Seems like a good idea to me. You can do it IRL, heck you could in Links 2003.

Yep, the ability to move within the tee box would be a great feature,  so would the ability to raise and lower the tee height.

However, the chainsaw idea is priceless :-),   but it will need a ladder or something to reach the high branches.  Chainsaw pal, ladder pal, etc.etc. lol
