In the last 2-3 days I saw sometime a pop-up talking abt a tournament, reserved to WGT Nation members, to be played in 2 rounds, but I don't find anything in Tournament or somewhere else. Any informations, please? Tks Bye

#2 has started - saw it in an ad.

Curious if I'll receive a mail this time.

It really appears to be a ghost tournament. It's not mentioned on the Nation page, it's not in the public announcements, it's not in the results, my scores of #1 are not even in my score history!

Yancy should have a look at it!!

Something that might help some people.

For those that keep track of their rounds for stats purposes, like I do... those Nation Tournaments do not appear in the score history.

I keep a record of my real average and my best 400ranked averageround as legend in an Excel spread sheet but I was missing 0.01 lol after the fist multiround nation only tournament.

For the second tournament, i score -8 for front 9, yet on back 9 (which i've never scored less than 5 birdies in previous rounds) i was getting the usual "score blocker" deviation effected round where your R11's have gone from superior club to starter club.

135 iron on #10 going 132 yards with no spin in tailwind and down-slope, where usually i would get 140+, next hole my 135 iron with full spin in headwind and UP-slope goes 139 yards! Add in another short hole where my dinged drive lands in 50% rough???,  and playing safe on 18 with a dinged wood, that too flew left into 50% rough.  from shots turning out how they should on front 9, to reacting nothing like they should on back, it was clear i was getting deviation to block scoring better than my average.  Instead of getting 57 or better i end up with a 59 due to clear deviant, erratic shots.  Please when i'm playing a good round, let it continue not bring it to a halt, with clearly strange shots, especially when there's a $100 gift card to win. I bet my house that there will be a cluster of people who wont get bad deviation on their rounds and score 56's.

(sorry for the moan, especially when 59 is a o.k score but it bugs me when i know there was 4 birdies dropped for shots that were out of my hands, that's the element of so called LUCK on this game, whether deviation stings you or not, and me being a total perfectionist! & had a chance to do well until deviation got in the way)

oh, by the way, the same shot which landed 7  yards past hole i mentioned above with 135 iron just landed 1 yard short of pin in a matchplay round..

No, i just realise that tournaments are set up so a random select few get no deviation whilst the rest get added random strokes.  Same with the winds, like 30 mph headwind on st andrews #14, but a select few will get tailwind and congressional par #5 where if you get tailwind you can eagle, but headwind no chance.  These are the difference between winning a $100 gift card and coming 20th and getting nothing.

If you think a dinged drive on an easy birdie hole in 3 mph wind which lands in 50% rough as if its 20 mph wind is fair enough, then o.k  think what you like, but to me its very disappointing, and shouldn't happen if it was A DINGED DRIVE! And also wind should effect shots according to what's shown, so if it says 15 mph wind, then say a 120 yard PW shouldn't go 123+ yards!  Thats all, sort these things out and i can die a very happy man indeed.

Yes deviate my round if you like, but be a bit more subtle like every other hole, not one half like Tiger Woods then the other like a wild cat, and yes if i miss ding put me on the moon if you want, but a dinged drive should not leave club face like a slice.
