    Hi WGT

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this but your qualifying scores in the latest news update are wrong, they are all 1 out. There are actually 150 on 57 and under so a further 6 people going under 58 will result in the qualifying score dropping to 57.

You may be giving people false hope and need to change it.

What a joke!  57 just to smell a 2 round playoff:) Why doesn't WGT play the qualifier on Kiawah and rename it the US/safe sun open & play from the ladies tees like last month. Maybe the cut will be 53 or so.

Really realistic for the 5 million or so WGT players, who like myself have never even come close to a 60 let alone a 57...hahaha

    Hi

We try to make conditions approachable for everyone. Just like any other us open, you have to qualify for it by posting low scores.  If someone was included who did not post a score, would it have been fair or would they have felt like they earned it?>

Actually it IS fairly realistic. The top 156 plus ties will be somewhere around 200 people that qualify.

Now look at the US Open ( or almost any PGA event , for that matter). Guess what? .. players still have to qualify for those as well. How many thousands of people try to qualify for the US Open? You have be what, a 2 handicap to even try? Then you'd still have to play your way through several qualifiers. Those thousands end up being a handful that manage to play their way in to a field of 170-ish players.

You can complain about the cut line all you want, but everybody plays from the same tees, under the same conditions, and has the chance to do it with the same equipment. Then it comes down to playing it smart and consistent for 1 whole round.

57 might be out of reach for the majority ( myself included), but don't knock WGT or the players that DO shoot that number.

Qualifying for the US open by shooting a 57,58 or 59 is realistic? Was there one guy who shot 59 in qualifying for a US Open this year, let alone 200. Was the cut line even close to a 59 in qualifying at any of the sites?  Or was it 10 strokes higher on basically every site.

If your going to use the term "realistic", at least understand what the word means.

"The Most Realistic Golf Game on the Web" is what WGT claims to be...as far as I can see, there is nothing "realistic" about having to shoot 59 to qualify for the US Open.

This is not hating on the 200 guys who are incredibly good at this game, and are clearly lightyears ahead of 99.9% of the people who play this game...they deserve to be showcased.

Just dont use the word realistic to describe the experience of trying to qualify for the US Open....it couldnt be further from it.

The game is realistic. However, things that make the game the game IRL harder, like downhill and uphill lies, and draw and fade options, are not in place. Another thing, I think the irons should have a little less accuracy going up.  I sure don't hit a 3 iron as accurate as a 9 or 8 iron.

The game is the most realistic for sure, and those guys who qualified sure have more opportunities to do so than IRL for sure.

As i an unable to quote or post.off my own back.... WHY!!! are we having so many problems playing the game in alternate shot mode.

We are unable to see other players that we can chat too, and this is creating a huge game time issue that does not appear to being addressed.

Even though we don't pay for the game i feel it would be considerate if we could be informed of the issue to save wasting our time, or potentialy bying items for that game!!!

Just add 10 strokes to everyone's score.

The cut line will be 67.

Wait the same (roughly) 200 players will still be at or below the cut.

Do you honestly think if the course/conditions etc were harder that resulted in the cut line being 67 instead of 57, every one else would have a better chance?
