This  was meant to be a fun competition.  And Godel and Mike are doing a great job, as well as Lou on the Devs side.

After reading what Godelscher has said, truly words from his heart. I am a little taken back and humbled by this mans words.   Godel you are a stand up guy, and I commend you for not doing the unthinkable.

Lets keep this going as I would hate to see a great competition like this end.

    Cheers,

    b0gey

    Minkywinkster:

My resentment was solely directed at Mike because I felt he showed me a lack of respect by not informing me of what was going on coupled with what might be a coincidental deletion from his friend's list.

Anyone who knows me really shouldn't have a bad word to say about me as I treat people with the utmost respect regardless of sex, stature, creed or colour. all I ask is for a little in return.

This is all meant to be a bit of fun and should never get out of hand and I feel partially responsible for it and for that I'm sorry.

I couldn't deny you Jamil, or any of the all stars, I'm more than happy to cheer the team from the sidelines

Doh, I did not know a player who has been played and winning all his matches could simply be removed from the next round without asking him if he wants to play or not...in this case Hass.

I know this Invitational is only for fun but gezzz man, taking Hass out of the move to put players who in theory are better players is just....not funny at all.

About Godelscher post.......speachless! I feel the heat the same way he does :-( after my recent divorce, having to leave my own house and having a depression because of the same...told Fabian about my personal situation some weeks ago.

    Ugh...how to cheer up?.

First, I know from where Jamil is coming from...not entirely, but from from his sense of community here at WGT.

You can search for a post that seemed to get out of hand (that I started a bit back) to let you know I feel about the WGT community the same way Jamil does.

I made a poor assumption in thinking that everyone understood that not all would play all three rounds, I wanted everyone on the team to have a shot at Lou's line ups.

With that said, I understand the issues that have occured...I based my 2nd round line ups on a few gut feelings, and checking MP history.

Again Hass, I'm sorry I didn't inform you before hand, was a slight of mind this morning as I was putting the line ups together.  I hope you accept and understand, my apology I sent to you.  I also understand if you don't...but I'm sure you know (by reading the forums) I generally don't avoid confrontations;)

If Tuck is still set on not playing, then please accept (Hass) my request to take his position, if not, then I will fill it, but still, as I mentioned to you before, I do want you for Oakmont.

Sorry to all that that we had this occur in public.

All Stars........You have the Devs on the back foot.

It's a team game.....perhaps sometimes executive decisions need to be made. It's water under the bridge now.

Stay focused and use the momentum to keep the pressure on.

It's a great tournament so far.

That was deep, Jamil. Keep the faith man, how you respond when faced with adversity is what defines us all. I know you will have the strength to pull through. I also respect your pride, but never let it get in the way of a helping hand whilst in need.

That being said, there is no way I could let you down during this time of great importance for you. I feel stupid doing this because I'm not one for drawing attention or making a scene, but yes I'll realign with the stars. I don't care if I ride the pine - after all I'm the joke that was pumped by 6 holes in rd. 1 :-)

Best wishes Jamil - here for you in whatever way I can if you need anything bud.

Congratulations to the AllStars in round one. All of you are a class act and it is a privilege for me to watch this Tournament on the bench as I have a temporary problem myself. Jamil, my God brother you are in my prayers from now on sir and I hope things turn around soon in a positive direction. You are to be commended for your work.

Thank you Tuck. Thank you Hass. Thank you All Stars. Thank you Devs.

This is my Rudy moment. I'm proud of all of you and you all really do deserve the name "All Stars" (Devs included). You're the best of WGT for many different reasons, not least of which is your character as human beings.

I've said it before, I told the Dev's in a CC forum post,  and I'll say it 100 more times.   When you look up class act in the dictionary ... you'll find Jamil (and his rooster).

We all have a bit of adversity in our lives from time to time, whether it be health or job related.. Right now I have my daughter/husband/2 kids living with me because their house caught fire 3 weeks ago.     Hard situations to deal with ... I just say all the time that good things happen to good people.     My prayers are with you Jamil, I hope you'll come out of this smelling like a rose.      Your one of the good guys.   Us Dev's wouldn't be getting our azzes kicked without you.

To the rest of the team .. Tuck, Minky, etc.   No harm - No foul.    Let's put this behind us and get it all done.

Oh and Jamil .. one more thing.   I only disagree with one thing in your post, and I'd like to mention this to all the members of the All Star Team ....   DON'T WIN ...............

OK ------- Round 2 ... starts whenever you can start it .... and finishes up on/about Tuesday 7/31.    Then we'll wrap up on Oakmont in early August.

Remember - 18 hole ranked rounds on Olympic.   Win's = 2 points, Ties = 1 point.  No Sudden Death.

    Jamil [God ;)]

Thanks for your brutal honesty.  I know how hard it is for a man to admit something like that when all seems hopeless. For some it is easier to take drastic measures against oneself or others (see Aurora, CO).

I know you feel humiliated, weak, and like a failure. But I see something different. I see a man humbled who is willing to admit his faults and shortcomings. I see a guy who is on his way up from rock bottom with no false pretenses and grateful for life.  I just want to encourage you to hang in there and keep taking it a day at a time. As cliche as it sounds, it works. Your WGT community is behind you!

I'm amazed at the friendships and life growth I've seen through this silly game. We are on your bag rooting for you the whole way bud!! Cheers.
