  You are welcome Mike. But if two players from US cannot find an agreement about the time to play, I just hope that a player from US and another from Europe will manage to find an agreement :) . I will do my best to arrange this match with Bullfrog. Let's see if it works.

  I shold have mentioned Fabian..Tad should be availble now (if not busy) for the next few hours (till around 5pm EST.

  Issue with the earlier match (even tho same timezone) is one can only play from work, and one only from home.

  Thanks again for saving me the embarrassment:)

  I really think Lou would have pushed me to it...lol!

  Well, when I wrote that I was available, I didn't mean immediatly :) .

  I will be available to play starting from this Sunday morning and up to next Sunday everyday (and all day long because I will be in vacations). So I guess that it should be possible to find a good schedule for both of us.

  I know we've hit a bit of a lull in the action due to conflicting schedules, but I wanted to bump up this thread to keep it fresh on everyone's mind.

  Best of luck to Fabian, Dazza, and Buck, (and regular old good luck Bulfrog, PGA, and SCK).

  Looking forward to the results and moving on to the final and deciding round.

  Just an update to everyone .. The Bulfrog / Genorb match is planned for today (Tuesday) at 2:30 PM Eastern Time.    StoneCold/Dazza have been in communication and will get their match in ASAP.    PGADan has a bit of a personal problem - and has been out of action.   We can hold that match over until later if it is needed.

  In the meantime - Mike is going to get me the Round 3 participants later today ... and I will do the match ups right away ... Look for round 3 .. the 3 point matches at the dreaded Oakmont to begin tonight / tomorrow. 

  It's not over --- until it's over ...

  And to all the very skilled participants --- always remember.

  BullFrog and I tied. It was a match where we both had good and bad holes, leading 2up each other.

  However we got a mess. We agreed about a solution but that's anyway embarrassing.

  On hole 14, I conceded the hole by mistake. On hole 15 (par 3, 149yds), Frog got a spin glitch. This glitch is normally solved, but it appeared that his shot landed way too far. I won that hole.

  The problem is that we don't know for sure if Frog would also have made a birdie on this hole (even if it's not the most difficult hole of the course). At that moment Frog was still 1up and we continued the game without thinking too much about that.

  However I made an eagle on hole 17 and won that hole. So we ended up with a tie. We discussed a lot about the situation and agreed for a tie.

  A possible solution I propose is the following. Let's count our game as a tie. However if at the very end of the competition Deviation and all star have the same score, Deviation will be the winner.

  What do you think about that?

  Sorry about all this mess. It's in part my fault for having conceded the hole but also the fault of this bug which is normally solved but apparently not...

  Meh bleep happens.  I proposed we make the match a 17 hole match and remove 15 entirely from the equation and if Fabian won in extras we would have tied the match and had I won in extras I would have won the match outright.  Either way it sucks because had I won in extras Fabian feels cheated and with the tie well to be honest I feel a bit on the short end of this stick.  However like I told Fabian its a fun match, its not for money, it didn't determine the overall champ, and we still have Oakmont to play.  And I have a sneaking suspicion that we might play each other at Oakmont :)

  That would be indeed nice. Our first encounter was not a success because of this mess. We have to play again for sure to erase the first match from our memory :) .
