Beginners clubs it is then.  Should be fun :)

Erm... Starters only!  Hopefully that was just humour, but I have to check as I don't want you to be using the wrong clubs because I didn't make it clear.

LOL   sorry, wasn't humor....just an idiot moment......edited my screw up.

The only clubs that can be used are the normal starter set that comes free of charge when you first joined the game.  No beginner equipment allowed, including the putter (it is unfair as newer players don't have beginner equipment).

I thought that the beginner stuff is what we all got in the beginning.  Iron distances for beginners is 80-160 yds and the starters is 90-180yds.

Sorry to ask, I read up to here before trowing my stupid question lol

    starter balls too?

    :D

    MioKontic:
Someone asked in another thread about a 'starter clubs and balls' tournament.  There are a lot of tournaments going on at the moment, but most seem to be for the top players of the game, so I am prepared to run a starter clubs/balls tournament for anyone who wishes to enter, no restriction on tier or level.

It is (and always has been) in the original post (1st paragraph) that it is only starter clubs and balls, but I don't mind reconfirming...

starter clubs and balls only to be used

No Beginner clubs (including putter) because not everyone has them and no Starter Plus clubs as they are pay-for clubs.

If anyone forgets to change before the game, simply inform them on the first tee and set the match up again.  Please don't simply bail and then post here as that is not necessary.  And for those who play RG's etc, don't forget to change back afterwards!

With one player having had to pull out, we now have 45 signups.  Only a few more to go, let's keep those entries coming in.  We have an awesome prize list, thanks to everyone who has donated.
