Thanks WGT, just played the legend Ready go at St Andrews from the master tees, i wasn't expecting a hot round but instead i got a FURNACE ROUND. If only i had realised on #2 i was playing on championship greens, and a meter pause on #15 i "might" have reached the magic number of 49 (for a single play)

Thanks WGT, that round just blew me away, and i hope more of the same can come along. LOL.  If i wasn't long pitching in for Eagle, i was long putting. AMAZING. made me a happy bunny today.

Damn, i need to stop being a perfectionist, yes, i'm extremely happy i scored first 51, but on other hand i'm gutted i missed 2 holes i should have birdied too. RELAX & ENJOY (is best)

    Chris,

Don't you think it's a little suspicious that everything went your way in that round.  You've been pretty vocal about WGT being rigged - has the thought occurred that WGT fixed this round for you to encourage you to be quiet; to make you their patsy if you like.

It has all the hallmarks of a classic conspiracy if you ask me!

    :-)

PS well done on a stellar round

that round i could have aimed opposite to hole and ball would still probably go in, 4 x 28+ foot putts all sunk, even #17 from back right of green.  Doubt i will see another one of these in a very long time.  My reward for shutting up the past weeks.

How it came to be will always be a bit of a mistery; but a 51 is an awsum round by any standard. Congrats!!!

Although i might be tempting to think so (we all do that every once in a while i guess out of frustration) i refuse to believe WGT allowed/let/made you make such a good round. We may blame WGT for making us play bad every now and then, but it MUST be uninmaginable they CAN MAKE us play good.

If that were the case we are nothing but helpless automato's and i would walk away instantly!!

My best best round stranded at 52. Couple of missed birds from within 10ft, no doubt cause i've been critical here and there :-)))

Great Round Chris. You were rewarded for great play or sometimes the hole is just bigger. ;-)

Chris has never complained! He has charts that dial his shots down to the inch and when a deviation sends him 25 yards off course he states the fact that the game is flawed and that he never mishit a shot. THE GAME HAS BEEN FIXED PEOPLE, ALL IS WELL. Deviations are a thing of the past.

When the IRON is on and the man is dialed in nothing can slow him down

I had a similar round the other day Chris.  Ended up with 52, think it was on Kiawah from the middle tees.  Missed an easy putt on 3 for birdie and another on the back nine can't recall the hole but it was another 5 footer.

However I made 5 or 6 of the 25 foot, sidehill breakers that I normally miss and even 3 putt.  That is what makes it fun, once in a while us normal virtual golfers can hit a streak and be up there with Bollie and StoneCold.  Doesn't mean we can play with them on a regular basis but for that one shining moment, we can.

Congrats on a great round.  After coming that close you always think of the few shots that got away but as you mentioned there were more than a few that you probably wouldn't want to putt over again.

    Dear Chris,

Due to an administrative error, you got the wrong windset and deviations during your round.  The conditions you played under were actually intended for BIB, not CIB.  Accordingly, we will remove your score from the leaderboard, and request that you replay your round at your earliest convenience (Sam's already kindly agreed to replay his).

Should a similar situation occur in the future, please contact us immediately and we will remedy it prior to you posting your score.  I trust you understand how delicate and potentially embarassing a situation like this can be for all concerned.

    Regards,

    WGTWolf

Disclaimer:  for any of you folks with the IQ of a shoelace, this is humour!!  It's also complete fiction!!  (and how sad is it that one even has to point that out?  Kinda like a "Warning: Fire may be hot and may cause burns", label.)

(on a serious note though, helluva round Chris!  Looks like Santa came early this year....)
