    Mine too. Eagled it the first time as well and don't think i have even birdied it since.If you hit a shot with too much spin you can hit right by the pin and then watch the ball take the slope down the hill and end up 25 to 30 feet away. And above the pin is a nightmare. Even slightly past the hole and the slope will take you down hill 25 or 30 feet. In one of the Back 9 RG's last month I had a 7 putt 9 on it.

    Kiawah 17 with the back pin can be a really tricky birdie.

    Add to this ever growing list...#2&#11  St. Andrews....11 ...dang..if i get within 15 yds on the driei'm lucky..left side of hole has a ridge if u dont get over it it rolls back  20 yds....and if u drive too far u go over the road....if i come out with a par its like an eagle

    Oakmont #9 when going at that pin over the trap. Take a par on that hole anytime.

    LOL Me too, and this follows the very long par 3 eighth (relatively  easy par but not often a good birdie chance)..

    Here's one which people will laugh about - and I used to consider it the easiest birdie hole - #3 St Andys! now I can't buy a birdie on that hole and have a lot more luck on #2 - go figure that!
