Merion #5  Oakmont #9  Bethpage #15....is there really one of these holes easier or harder than the other 2?  Need a bit of luck on all of these very difficult holes. Make a par and walk away with a smile.

Yes, #15 BP - that is a good birdie chance. Oak #9 is still the hardest IMO but yes Merion#5 s hard to birdie. Funny I have struggled with Merion #17 - I don't think I have even made a par there, but have  couple doubles to my name!

BPB 15 is par for sure 50% birdie, Oak 9 and Merion 5 are pars if played wisely. My nemesis at the moment is merion 6. Atm i just play short for a long uphill put for birdie anything long and i am f'ed.

all good choices, add Merion #18, and for me (though may be mental ) St. Andy #17

Hmm I agree, The last three times I have got to within 5 feet with my approach, but high side and I have yet to make the putt - in fact, end up futher away!!!!!

Merion 15 as well for me, tough to make birdie but easy enough (most of the time) to make par. How can you get the ball to stick to this green?

Merion 18 despite playing so hard at the Open, is not too bad on here, par usually is not too hard for me. All the par threes with the exception of 13 are tough and bogey them more often than I birdie them (from the back tees they are long and especially 17 where the wind effect is much greater). Overall Merion has more holes that can undo you faster than a Ferrari.

I agree into a strong wind at St A's#17 is tough but again getting up and down isn't too bad.

I still can't get to grips with Oak #9 with that pin behind the bunker and a tailwind - I just haven;t got enough string to hold the ball from rolling way past!

Oak #9,  very few pars (pure luck from bunker) for me, never close to birdie. One of my fav courses too, play & practice it everyday,  LOL.

would have to add RSG #18 because of the green to this list after playing it again. :-) So guess I can't pick "the hardest hole".
