RootsRo: nemesis at the moment is merion 6
Hmm I agree, The last three times I have got to within 5 feet with my approach, but high side and I have yet to make the putt - in fact, end up futher away!!!!!
Merion 15 as well for me, tough to make birdie but easy enough (most of the time) to make par. How can you get the ball to stick to this green?
Merion 18 despite playing so hard at the Open, is not too bad on here, par usually is not too hard for me. All the par threes with the exception of 13 are tough and bogey them more often than I birdie them (from the back tees they are long and especially 17 where the wind effect is much greater). Overall Merion has more holes that can undo you faster than a Ferrari.
I agree into a strong wind at St A's#17 is tough but again getting up and down isn't too bad.
I still can't get to grips with Oak #9 with that pin behind the bunker and a tailwind - I just haven;t got enough string to hold the ball from rolling way past!
