TOUR LEGEND - what counts

  Is it just 18 holes under 60 or do front and back sperately count towards the 100 too??

  Good question, just shot a 29 and my average didn't drop..would have expected a .01 drop.

  what would have been nice is some sort of graphic to track your ranked rounds at legend played and what your current average is for those 100 rounds.  I know we can still work it out from what we got, but when something is visually represented, it's even more motivating :)

  It won't ever affect me because I'll never get there but is there an earnings bonus for promoting to Tour Legend?  WGT apparently failed to think of adding the tier to the FAQs as they were programming and implementing it.

  It's my "understanding".....that the TOUR MASTER (TM) tier was added by WGT last Fall.  NOW......here we go again.  WGT adds another NEW tier...TOUR LEGEND.  So, it's my GUESS....that a LOT of current LEGENDS never had to go through that TM tier on their way to reach LEGEND.

  It's also just my GUESS.......that WGT will continue doing this.  After approx. 2,000 WGT members make it to TOUR LEGEND.......WGT will just ADD still "another new" tier with even more diffcult criteria to meet.

  If I was STILL a TOUR MASTER right now......I wouldn't exactly be too happy about this NEW tier being added.  It's like one of my friends here told me.....hey, Bob, WGT keeps moving those GOAL POSTS on you.

  OK......if WGT is going to create a NEW tier.....TOUR LEGEND.....could they at least POST the CRITERIA it will take to "get there"?  Or have they?  Don't think they ever posted criteria for ANY of the other TIERS.......I only found out from other WGT members through Forum Section OR by communicating with other WGT members who were in tiers more advanced than I was.  You WGT members who are shooting for TOUR LEGEND should at least know what the RULES or CRITERIA is to get to that next tier....just my opinion.

  GOOD LUCK......it's not that I wouldn't want to be a TOUR LEGEND or that I don't think I could achieve that goal.......I just don't see the point.  After 4-1/2 months of playing a TON of hours every day....I reached MY goal.....to make it to LEGEND.  I'm satisfied with that.  NOW, I just wish to have FUN.....play matches and tournaments. Though, I would REALLY like to see WGT open up 2 or 3 additional courses for STROKE PLAY....like Wolf Creek & Pebble Beach.....though I know, it takes a lot of work...money & camera shots to put a course together like that.

  This all sort of reminds me of the times I used to go watch he greyhounds race.....they would chase that "electronic bunny"......running as fast as they could....thinking they were going to catch it....BUT, they never did catch it.....the people who Owned the race track made SURE they didn't catch it.....*smile*

   a 26 will not take my avg down, guess the only way is up now.
